How to manage your account online

Request an item

  1. Sign in. Select New Search / Catalog Search.
  2. Search for an item. Select Request beside the item you want.
  3. Select the pickup location.
  4. If there are multiple volumes, select the volume you want.
  5. Select Submit.

You may request up to 20 items. You may not request an item if you owe $5 or more in fines.

We will email or call you when your item is ready for pickup. These items will be on our requests shelf, across from the Circulation Desk on the first floor and organized by your last name.

We hold requested items for 7 days. If you can’t pick up an item in time, contact the Circulation Desk at 508-647-6520 or In some cases, we can extend the pickup date by a few days.

Manage requests

Sign in. Select Requests.

  • To cancel a request, check the Cancel box beside the item.
  • “To freeze (temporarily stop) a request, check the Freeze box beside the item. To unfreeze, uncheck the box. If you will be unable to pick up your item for an extended period of time, freezing a request keeps your place in a long hold list. If the item you requested has few holds, you should cancel your request, not freeze it.”
  • To change a pickup location, select your preferred location from the dropdown menu.

To complete changes, select Update List at the bottom. You may need to select Yes to confirm..

Renew an item

  1. Sign in. If using the mobile account site, select Items Currently Checked Out. Check the Renew box beside the item you want to renew.
  2. Select Renew Selected Items. To renew all items, select Renew All.

Each item will have a new due date or a message that it cannot be renewed.

Pay library fines

You can pay library fines online with a credit or debit card. Your online payment is conducted via a secure transaction. We do not store credit card information..

  1. Sign in. Select Unpaid fines and bills in the center menu.
  2. Select Pay Online. In the new window, select the fines to be paid. Complete the Billing & Credit Card fields.
  3. Select Submit.
  4. You should see a confirmation screen. You may print or save it as a receipt.

The minimum payment amount for online transactions is $1.01. Please visit the library to pay any amount less than $1.01.

Update your email address

  1. Sign in. Select Modify personal information in the left menu.
  2. In the new window, enter your email address.
  3. Scroll to the bottom and select Submit.

Create a library card username

You can create a username to replace your library card number when you log in online.

  1. Select Modify personal information in the left menu.
  2. In the first field in the new window, enter a username between 6–25 characters.
  3. Scroll to the bottom and select Submit.

Change your PIN

  1. Select Modify PIN in the left menu.
  2. In the first field in the new window, enter your old PIN. In the second and third field, enter your new PIN.
  3. Select Submit.

If you do not know your old PIN, you can reset your PIN. You may also visit a library service desk or call the Circulation Desk at 508-647-6520.
