Borrow From Other Libraries

Request items

With your library card, you can borrow items from 43 libraries in the Minuteman Library network. You can request items from any Minuteman library for pickup in Natick.

Search our catalog to find items you want to borrow. To request an item for pickup, click Request It beside an item. You will be prompted to sign in with a library card number and PIN.

We will email or call you when your item is ready for pickup. Held items are across from the Circulation Desk and are organized by last name.

We hold requested items for 7 days. If you can't pick up an item in time, contact the Circulation Desk at 508-647-6520 or . In some cases, we can extend the pickup date by a few days.

Commonwealth Catalog

If you can’t find what you want in the Minuteman Catalog try out the Commonwealth Catalog. The Commonwealth Catalog extends your search beyond your local library’s resources. Search through millions of items at participating libraries across Massachusetts to find the books, DVDs, and music you’re looking for. Make a request and it will be delivered right to your local library for quick pickup. You know what you want — let the Commonwealth Catalog help you get it.

Your Commonwealth Catalog items will be delivered to the Morse Institute, and there is no charge!

Participating libraries include Bridgewater State University, Cape Libraries Automated Materials Sharing, Fenway Libraries Online, Minuteman Library Network, Old Colony Library Network, SAILS Library Network, and UMass Amherest.

Interlibrary Loan

Our Interlibrary Loan (ILL) service allows you to borrow items from many U.S. libraries. In addition to books, music and movies, you can request microfilm and articles from journals, newspapers and magazines.

We charge $2 per interlibrary loan item.
