Morse Institute Library, with support from the Natick Cultural Council, is excited to bring this outstanding a cappella group to Natick for the first time.
Boston Jazz Voices is a 19-voice a cappella ensemble that has called metropolitan Boston home for over 25 years. Building on a foundation of the complex and sophisticated vocal arrangements of Gene Puerling, Boston Jazz Voices is devoted to vocal jazz — they love to take a classic tune, add swinging rhythms and unexpected harmonies, and transform it into something new! The American songbook comes alive with close harmony, Disney takes on 5-part scatting, the Beatles are updated in 5/4 rhythm, and Motown gets a new life in Samba style.
This program is open to all adults and school age children free of charge. No registration required. To learn more, contact Jane Finlay at 508-647-6526 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
