Literacy Unlimited, which teaches adults in the Metrowest area to read and write English, invites you to participate in their May Baskets raffle.

"This year's raffle features some really wonderful prizes donated by tutors, library staff, friends and area businesses. Prizes include a Kindle basket, a Bose® SoundLink® Mobile Speaker II basket, a Dre Beats basket, an iPad mini, container gardening pots and supplies, a children's bicycle, a spa basket, a basket for beer lovers and another filled with premium wine and chocolate.

"Photos and descriptions of all baskets can be viewed after May 1 on large display boards at the participating libraries. A few baskets will be displayed at the Morse Institute Library and at the McAuliffe Branch library in Framingham. All baskets will be on display at the Framingham Public Library’s downtown building.

"Drawings for all baskets will be held at noon on Tuesday, June 4, at the Framingham Public Library. Winners need not be present.

"Raffle tickets cost $2 each, or a book of six tickets sells for $10. You can buy tickets at the participating libraries or the Friends of Literacy Unlimited website from May 1 through May 31."

Library eBooks Get a New Look

April 3, 2013

It's here: the next generation experience

An updated version of our Digital Media Catalog went live today. It's now easier to browse and borrow library eBooks.

If you read eBooks on a computer, tablet, or smartphone, you can now read some eBooks in your browser instead of using an app or special software.

To get started with the new catalog, visit our eBook page for tutorials or ask a librarian for help.
