Preparing for emergencies starts with knowing what to expect. Events that may affect our community include flooding, heat waves, hurricanes, power outages, and storms. After one of these events, town services may be impacted. By preparing to take care of ourselves and our neighbors for three days, we will be much better off when something happens. Join the staff of Morse Institute Library in emergency preparedness, because we’re all in this together!

The good news is you are probably already more prepared than you think. Here are three simple steps you can take to get ready:
