You may have noticed that the library lighting went through some changes recently. At Spring 2017 Town Meeting, members approved the lighting project proposed by the Town’s Sustainability Coordinator. The library is delighted to be a part of a more sustainable Natick. Our old florescent bulbs were replaced with energy efficient LED bulbs throughout the building. In many staff and meeting areas, LED lights were equipped with sensors that will turn off after 17 minutes of non-use. This will help the Library be more of an active participant in cost savings and reducing the Town’s energy use.
Like every project, there will need to be some adjustments and we will work to address any issues as quickly as possible. If you have any feedback or questions regarding this project, feel free to contact email@example.com.
